We have found that this sometimes happens if the center bolt is left out of the heat shield. You can't easily see it is missing but you can feel it.

Which heat shield? I presume you are talking about the exhaust heatshield above the cat and the resonater.

Thanks for the Input Cdelena

i have the same problem....in between 2800 to 3200 rpm's. WOWW that is annoying.I had this buzz with the top up only. i thought it would go away when i put the hardtop on, but hell no it kept on buzzing so i took the spare tire of, got in the car drove it and ...BUZZZ. man i gave up on it, however it sounds as if its coming from the rear of the interior. It may be a heat sheild problem but i havent had the chance. And yes this i caused by heavy vibration, due to the fact that it started when i installed the hks exhuast.well at least i know its not just my car

Thanks Cdelena! I'll Check for that bolt on the header shield.

Thomas oil is good to go ...thanks for the suggestion

03s2kay I feel your pain. It can be very frustrating. I will find this buzz. If I have to take one piece off at a time and test it until all I have left is the frame I will find it. I will fix it. Only a matter of time.

I also have this buzz... also i have this annoying buzzing sound from 3k to 3.5k coming from the bottom of dash area. It does this in all gear, either accelerating or decelerating. All this happen after i had my Invidia exhaust installed.

is it a buzz or a rattle?

The mid. hanger on the Invidia is known to hit the diff. mount in certain cases.

I would check the passenger side diff. mount for rub.wear marks.
