Depending on the impact and point of impact, the engine may not be damaged at all.

I didn't read the whole thread but, save it for the track!! Also, next time if you spin press the clutch and brakes to "lock" up the wheels to make it continue spinning in one path. Don't try to correct it because it can make it worst. Glad you walked away this time. You didn't overrev your car so don't worry.

"Both Feet In" <-- means tuck them back towards your seat/butt?

so don't even put it in neutral? I would be concerned about rolling backwards at high speed, doing nasty things to the motor.

and also, so *don't* press the brakes huh? once again concerned about rolling into something.
