slanted air guide question
I currently have a spoon style snorkel and I'm planning on going back to the stock setup and was wondering how difficult is it to replace the slanted air guide that I cut with a new one.
When I installed my snorkel I never removed the slanted air guide, instead I took a dremel and just cut out the piece needed to make the snorkel fit. Now I would like to get back it back to the stock setup and I'm trying to figure out how to remove the thing and replace it with a new guide. I remember I had a hard time trying to remove the slanted air guide so I gave up and just dremeled out the piece. Do I need to remove the front bumper to get access to the fasteners on the bottom?
Also, any ideas on how much is it going to cost for a new slanted air guide?
Thanks.

You'll need to unbolt the hood latch mechanism and move it out of the way. To make putting it back in the same spot easier, use pieces of masking tape to mark the edges on two adjacent sides. Line this up when you re-install it.
You remove the 4 plastic fasteners that hold the airguide to the radiator frame. Unscrew the central screw, then pull out the outer pronged faster. Now you have to find the bigger fasteners that hold the front of the airguide to the bumper frame. Once you see them, you'll have to work blind and by "feel". You'll need to get a small sharp screwdriver and find the slot on the outer ring of each fastener so you can lift the centers up about 1/4", then the whole fastener will come out. Start with the most accessible one to get practice for the remaining ones.
