Ice in a blender sound....
Today I went out to my car and it was around 23 degrees. I started driving slow and I hear a a ticking sound that I have noticed during idle when it is cold and then, all of a sudden, I accelerate gently from a light and I hear what sounds like ice chips shooting around in a blender and it sounds like it is coming from directly underneath my shifter.
My commute to work was only around 15 minutes and everything felt fine, so I'm tryin not to make myself crazy over it. Anyone know what this could be? I'm also hoping that ticking sound isn't the TCT. I have an 06 with less than 24k on her. Thanks.

TCT wouldnt sound like its coming from under your shifter. Sounds like to me either your springs in your clutch disk let go and are bouncing around or one of the tongues on your pressure plate let go and is bouncing around.
When its really cold outside and the car isn't warmed up, I'll get this sound ONLY when I start it up, but once the car has been running for more than 10 seconds, it wont do it again. I was worried about it at first but then I happened to hear another Honda (Fit) start up in the cold and it made the same noise, so I figured it was just a normal thing, haven't worried about it. It never happened while driving though.
I drove around for a while yesterday between heading home, a car wash and getting groceries and she felt and sounded fine. I also drove to work today in similar weather conditions and everything seemed fine. I let her sit a minute today before setting off, so I'll probably do that from now on to be safe.
