idle clicking
should i get this problem fixed immediately, or is it something that can be done in a couple of weeks, i definatly want to fix a problem before it becomes a problem. i know screwing up the timing chain will screw up everything. how long can i wait to change the tct? thats my main ?
thanks
thanks
is there a specific manual i should use when replacing it, havent been able to find a mechanic in town that i can fully trust with this issue, would rather do it myself, and im definetly not taking it up the you know what with a dealership
Changes TCT and did a valve adjustment, both helped a lot,
but there is still slight irregular ticking noise like once in 1-2 sec, that sounds like the chain is hitting the valve cover from the inside.
The noise goes away if the car is not in idle or when it has been driven
Ideas anyone?

is there specific info that the mechanic should know before installing, im not good at the mechanics yet but am learning, just wondering if a local shop will know how to install properly or should i take it in to a dealership?
After i changed the TCT the noise went away for a couple thousand miles then the noise has came back, although not as bad as before. Took it to the garage and they recommend changing the chain as it may have been stretched with the TCT failing before and the car has done over 80,000 miles. Does this cost a lot to do?
