Default idle issues?

Well I have an interesting issue. Sometimes the idle drops to 500 and other times the car stalls. It does not do it all the time and it does not do it all the time during the same drive. Saturday, it stalled twice while coming to a stop light. When I pressed the clutch it just died. At first I tought it was me, but I was watching it closely on Saturday, and it died on it's own.

So what should I ckeck/have checked. I think it may be the VALVE ASSY., ROTARY AIR CONTROL (36460-PCX-003) Part # 6

The IAC is the most likely cause, They have failed before. Usually tthe rotary valve inside gets stuck with carbon, try tapping the IAC when the idel speed is low to see if it speeds up.

Sometimes a cleaning with Carb/throttle plate cleaner can get the IAC unstuck.
