Ignition Switch
There is a rubber/soft plastic O-ring (for lack of a better description) between the ignition switch (key) and the plastic housing behind the steering wheel that is becoming separated on my Stook. I have tried reinstalling it with little to no success so far and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so, how they fixed it.
When I installed an auto timer in the car, I took off the steering column to access the ignition wiring and stuff. So now, here's the tricky part of putting it back correctly. Split both of them apart ... Meaning the top piece and the bottom piece.
Then you can place the rubber ring around the bottom fitting of the steering column piece, next you place the top piece over it and that should fix that part. The hard part is getting the complete steering column to be tight fixed again. You'll need a torch and quite a small hand to fit through the tight space inside.
Lie down with your head facing the pedals, face facing the inside of the steering column and all the wiring. You will see a small securing plastic pin on the side where the two joints meet, that you will need to get that in place for the complete steering column to come secure. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, it took me quite awhile to get it all tight and secure again with alot of effort.

Not that big of a job but certainly patience is the key to getting it right. Let me know how you go with it, sorry I can't provide any graphical explanations ... That will aid getting it right easier. Even though so, the securing plastic pin with the top and bottom piece behind/inside the steering column is very visible since there is nothing else in the way if you have a complete visual view from down under.
