When I decelerate in the lower gears (1-3), I hear a droning vibration-type noise between 2.5 and 3k rpm. It only happens when the car is in gear, and does not always happen but is a very common occurence. Has anyone else heard this? Any ideas on what it could be?

The noise is perfectly normal.
