Improve cd by masking the radiator air inlet?

The S2K has very large front under bumper opening for the air to the radiator relative to other car.
I wonder if this is responsible for the 0.38 cd number (top up). Do you think it will lower the cd significantly if we mask the opening by half?

I guess it would help your CD, but it would play havoc with your cooling and air intake.

You'll notice Barry has partially blocked his, but if you look what's under his car (the white crunchy stuff) I guess he's not concerned about getting too hot or how many Kw he's putting out this time of year

Barry,

That's funny and very creative. How do you keep it there?

Hey B- You should have folded the plate in half first, kinda wedge it, that would be much more aerodynamic.

Aus2000, you are right about the snow. My dealer doesn't think it will but a problem in summer, but I don't think I'll risk it. Oh yeah. YOU ARE IN SUMMER! I forgot.

Utah S2K, I could have folded it but instead I had a machine shop chop it down to 5 1/4 inches wide. I thought the weight saved would improve the zero to 60 time.

asin, I used Dennis Cunningham's stone guard grill insert to mount it. Here's a photo showing me getting it ready.
