I think you guys are missing the question.
Economically speaking, head gasket should not be reuse! You do the maths of 2x labour and compare that to the saving of a second hand gasket vs new.

Using a 3mm Isn't always the answer for boost. You might get away with it and be safe on low boost setting like 8-10psi. But at high boost level, I highly doubt the motor will last because the cyl. sleeves are just to thin to handle that much power. If I were to boost the S, i'll get new sleeves, piston, rods.

john lee from inline pro is just put down 521 to the wheels stock motor and he is pushing 6000 miles constantly beating so whats ur reason. oh and f20c have forged pistons and rods.

for boost, esp. at high levl. I just dont trust factory Sleeves.
