Default Inner tie rod tool.

I stumbled upon this by accident. The tool you use to remove the viscous fan on a BMW E46 M3 is exactly the size to remove the inner tie rod. Beats using an adjustable wrench.

Good hint. Theses tools are cheap too. Just for Clarification: 32 mm size for BMW?
https://www.bgstechnic.com/en/Produc...ord-32-mm.html

Because from this company are also 41mm, 46 mm and 36mm sizes of the same tool available. But only the 32 mm one is marked "For BMW".

Yep the flat part on the inner tie rod is 32mm. You also can't use the OEM bands on the boot, they don't exist. They list them, even have a part number, but you'll never get them till next year. You have to use a universal CV joint band, or take a chance with zip ties.

Clamp 9mm Band Stepless Ear Oetiker 167, Stainless - BelMetric

For future reference, don't bother ordering the band from Honda, you can just get it here for like $1.50 each. Beats $8+shipping each.
