Install Question and Whurring Noise?!?!
Ok, two questions here.....
1) Got the prm intake, and i realized i need some extra hose, im assuming thats it, and its fairly easy......tonight i was at a friends house installing it, and we took the stock box off, realized i needed more hose, which i could not get at the time, so put my stock box back on.....then driving home, i got a CEL.....i think its because i put the hose on the wrong nozzle that goes to the sensor on the back of the airbox....there are two nozzles on the bottom of that sensor, which one does the hose go to????
2) Every time i am holding a constant speed or come to a stop, there is this whurring noise coming from the rear of the car. As i slow down, it gets slower also... im thinking diff, or axle, but keep in mind i did get new rims, but they were off another S2K and the rears are pretty worn, and unevenly worn at that, not to mention a very slight balancing issue, not noticeable till 80mph or so.....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ps. the dealer said to get new tires first, and if it is still whurring, to come back.
Thanks again,
John.

I took my friends stock box off to get to some pulleys I installed for him and in my rush to get it done (was getting dark and cold and I was not in my shop) I forgot to hook up a vacuum hose.
The next day he drove it a CEL came on and he was worried and called me. I happen to have a ODBII scanner and the code popped up as a secondary air code. I found the hose, plugged it back in, cleared the code and everything is fine.

thanks....i still need to know which of the nozzles (on the sensor that is mounted on the back of the air box) the vacuum line goes to though?
If someone could look at their car and tell me that would be great.
TIA,
John
