That is not a guarantee the test pipe is the cause. You need the code to determine why the light is coming on.

So? It could be a lean code, not a secondary o2 fault. Just goto a local auto parts store and ask them to read the code for you. Its free and takes less than 3 minutes from walk in to drive off.
You can't do this anymore. Or at least here in CA its a new law where auto part stores don't lend out the scanner codes no more.

they are not that pricy tho... I would honestly just buy one.. I bought one for 130 and at a dealship they charge you like 90 so might as well just get a scanning tool.

a LAW!?!?

WTF lol There is a law that says they cant help their customers?

That is absurd....I bet those scan tools aid in selling thousands of o2 sensors each year lol

I bought a cheapo scanner for $30 off ebay.

Sometimes a test pipe with a "fix" still needs another anti-fouler to lengthen the bung.
