Default Intake Help !

Desparetly looking for Intake for my 2003 Silverstone s2000 in Athens, Greece. I hear different opinions about it.....i'm looking for an Intake that gives (apart from the fantastic sound) even 1HP....any suggestions please??

well, you might want to do a Search (see button in upper right). there are many many different intakes, and I'd say that most that replace the airbox (that is to say, non-snorkel) should give gains of maybe 1HP, but much more than that you're getting into a serious debate as to which is best. thus, the Search (using the admittedly sub-standard search engine). some snorkel-types are good as well, but some have the dreaded hood-pinch which really restricts airflow when at a standstill.

personally, I'm going with the PRM. there have been many many happy customers of the AEM and 4IGs CAIs. Mugen, Js Racing, ... there's a lot to choose from, depending on how deep your pocketbook is, how concerned you are about hydrolock, and really how much you "believe" in the design of any one intake, since to date there has been few scientific comparisons (on a dyno) between all the intakes.

however, Russ has a thread detailing some of his intake comparisons and his very scientific approach with a Tazzo, and he's recently decided upon the Weapon R. food for thought.
