Intake installation and much more!
Victim: MY00 with just over 6,000 original miles.
I installed my Injen Intake on Friday night/Saturday morning. Using the printouts I found using the "SEARCH" button
I was able to do this in just under three hours by myself. This is the third intake I have installed---none on an S2K before, though.
I did make a run to Autozone for some new hose. The stuff that came in the Injen kit seemed very cheap.
Here is what I started with:

During the process, a bit stumped by the hose routing, but I figured it out

The end!

I have been in an Integra GSR with a warm air intake and at Vtec it screamed. On the S2k, it sounds like a damned raped ape above 6,000rpm
Did a little engine detailing, too---look at the unibody, etc.
:

I had also installed my version 3.826 Valentine One Radar Receiver---hard wired. That's dust from the Poorboys product on the windshield.

I also replaced the Diff fluid with LE 607 and put GM friction modified, etc. into the tranny. That GM fluid REALLY made a nice difference!
Finally, I washed and applied Poorboys SSR1, Zaino Z5 and Z8 b/t coats and topped with Poorboys EX. Sorry for the poor picture---is started raining really hard when I was done. I quickly pulled it back into the garage and shut the door. Oh well---no driving until it's nice again

I think it's "beer thirty..."
