Default Invidia Exhaust problem fixed

Sup guys. I just put the Invidia exhaust on my wifes S2000 and its been on there for about a month and every time @ about 3700 RPMS to about 3900 it makes this weird buzzing sound...like really loud for those couple hundred RPMs. I dont know what it is. I started thinking it might be the heatshield around the CAT so I took that off and it is still doing it...Im gonna lose my mind lol. Its annoying. If anyone has had this problem or knows what it might be let me know please!! Thanks

Jon

Check the welds for cracks. My Comptech did the same thing and it turned out to be a crack around the resonator.

I will check it out whenever I get the chance to put it on the lift on base, thanks. Anyone else got some ideas?

Well....after getting annoyed...and reading through about 60 pages worth on here, I finally saw a post that said the exhaust might be hitting the rear subframe so I went out side with the wife and had her get in the car and start it up and she gave it gas and between 3700-4000 it would make this loud ass noise, ****ing annoying. Well I was looking and come to find out that the Invidia Logo was only tack welded on the left side and the tack broke off!!! And the Logo was vibrating against the exhause causeing it to make that nasty ass noise like two peices of metal touching. I just pulled it away from the exhaust about a 1/2 inch and told the wife to go ride and it is NO MORE. FIXED the problem..If you guys have the same problem check out the invidia logo. Thanks guys!!
