Issues with AP1 Not Starting
#11
Try pushing your clutch pedal really hard and see if that makes a difference, if that works I would suggest replacing the piece of plastic on the clutch. It could also be your immobiliser possibly. If your starter worked, chances are really low that the starter or the solenoid are your issue. I would also check your grounds, see if you can see any corrosion built up around grounding points. Hope this helps.
Looks like your immobilizer is working from the video.

2. Starter solenoids can be very heat sensitive therefore symptoms won't always be there.

Just wondering if any of those accessory electrical items you installed maybe drawing excessive current, when you try to start the engine. Esp, when car is cold.
Can you remove (via fuse or switch) these devices, before starting?

Thanks for all of the recommendations!
I’ve decided to have the car towed to the Honda dealer to let them have a gander at it, which hopefully should be successful.
I’ll update the thread once I know the end result.

Just an update for anyone that may end up stumbling across this thread in the future...
I ended up skipping the Honda dealer and chose to take it to a really great local mechanic shop that was suggested by a friend, thus saving me a lot of money that I would have spent having gone direct to the dealer.
The issue has been resolved though, as it turns out that the port on the starter solenoid was not fully connected, thus causing the vehicle not to start.
Thanks again to all of you for the feedback and recommendations!
