Default ITB questions/help

Hello, I recently purchased an s2k with a toda itb set-up. The car was "street-tuned" and ran super rich. So I knew the first thing I had to do was get a proper tune, which I did. Doing so was able to release close to 40whp, but most importantly, saved my engine. I was told that the vaccum lines were incorrectly ran, and that it ran lean on WOT. So that was good, now for my question....after the tune, I'm not able to run my ac while the car is idling. If I turn it on, the rpms drop and the car dies out.
-Does anyone running ITB's have or had this issue?
Its starts fine, and idles around a grand. It is tuned with AEM EMS. I am able to drive and use the ac fine, I only have issues at idle. I was told I could turn the idle up a few rpms manually to keep it from dying out, but that would put my idle at closer to 1500 rpm. I've seen a few pics of similar ITB setups with a vaccum block for all of their lines which I dont have. Is that what I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
