She starts but having idle and afr issues
Well I bought a basemap from chris miller, loaded it up went to start the car its starts but the idle is at like 2500 rpm and increases to 3500 and stays there. Also wideband reads 10, i then looked at my laptop and the actual afr is 8.5 but the target is 14.7 obviously i dont know why its still running so rich. Anyone have any ideas? I also so smoke coming off my heatwrap on the manifold and downpipe but i read into this and apparently its normal for it to smoke on the first few heat cycles. Any help would be appreciate im kinda in a rutt here
Why don't you contact Chris Miller?
It kinda sounds like your wideband isn't wired correctly which means the EMS cant run the car. I wouldn't run the car for too long like that since you can fuel wash the oil and score the cylinder walls.
Which wideband are you using and im assuming you're also using an AEM EMS?

I plan on towing the car to him at this point, i only ran it for a short period of time. Im running a series 2 yes, im running the positive off the fusebox, ground right under the steering wheel and white wire to pin c16. They were closed by time i got to it today but im not gunna try and mess with it anymore until i bring the car to him.

Pics ?
which wideband sensor are you using?
How did you wire in to C16? Splice? or re-pin?
I took the switch 12+ from a fuse in the fuse box I'll look tomorrow, I just cut the wire like 2 inches from the connector and wired it that way for pin c16. Only thing I'm thinking is that I have my boost gauge and wideband off the same power source but the draw shouldn't be enough to effect the reading that much. I have aem digital wideband
