Not to beat a dead horse, but I was thinking about it some more, and I realized that the velocity of the air on the intake of the SC is higher than the velocity of the air on the engine side of the SC. This is because the same amount of air is flowing on both sides at different pressures. I am not sure, but I would bet that the lower pressure air at higher velocity (on the intake side) would be MORE effected by turbulance and restriction.

I realize that this modification might be expensive, but I know that there are TONS of NA setups that are gaining less than 10 RWHP for $1500.

This is totally just a theory. I have no FI experience.

Apparantly under boost, the PVC would be closed shut because of the forced air.
