Izze Air Pump Delete P1415
I’ve owned my S2000 for 7 years and am now a professional Technician.. So I would like to tackle this myself but in the 7 years of owning my S2K I’ve had three shops fail to install the Izze pump so the CEL comes on for P1415…. Why? This has always been the code that comes on from the start of ownership till after the three visits, till now.. what should I be doing to resolve the issue??
There is a common mistake made by many installers. They are not reading the schematic correctly.
I have installed many without issue. If you search, you will find the thread where the creator (Caleb) chimes in.

P1415 is easily resolved by the simulator.
It's P0411 that can sometimes be triggered by a faulty ECU: the transistor controlling the red OEM wire (32P, #2), of which controls the vacuum solenoid on the rear of the OEM intake box, can easily be destroyed if this wire is ever shorted (e.g., harness cut and subsequently shorted after aftermarket intake installation, usually by the pulleys).
