Comptech may have tried an M45 blower. I agree that the M45 size roots would probably be getting overspun on the S2000. With the M65 however, it a larger volume of air per revolution and does not have to be spun as fast. There are M65's turning 10psi+ on Miatas with 7000rpm redlines running just fine. A 5-6psi pulley would work fine on the S. It's just a matter of fitting the blower on the intake side of the motor. Looks pretty tight.
