Any decent tuner with AEM EMS experience can tune a near stock F22 like I did, so you wouldn't have to send it to me (although I'd be flattered if you did).
Are you able to adjust redline and VTEC inception point with the AEM EMS? How easy is it to duplicate the factory settings for everything else if that's all I want to adjust?

And yes, I'm trying to find out the same information about the J's ECM.

You can adjust absolutely anything with the AEM ECU. What you have to keep in mind is that it isn't an F20C ECU, but a full custom ECU (like a Motec or Haltech), but this version just happens to come with the correct connections for our loom and a base map to run in our conditions. There are other versions based on the same logic board for other Hondas and other brands.

So not only can you set redline to pretty much anything you like, but you can set VTEC engagement/disengagement, timing, injection, aboslutely anything you like. It even has traction and launch control, and inputs and outputs for anything you can think off (such as Nitrous and boost control).

I believe the cost figures are as follows:

Alaniz engine producing ~285bhp with NEW block and head
$6700 (rounded from $6693) - NO ECU
$8100 (rounded from $8093) - AEM EMS ECU

J's Racing engine producing ~300bhp with USED block and head (plus additional items such as oil pan, oil cap, etc.)
~$11000 (includes *ALL shipping required) - NO ECU
~$12500 - ECU included (take your pic, I just added $1500 for an ECU)

* - ALL shipping refers to cost of delivery of J's engine to your door or chosen installation facility AND cost of shipping back your old head and block
I chose inline stroker

Used short block 400
Inline stroker and build the engine 5.500
575cc injectors 381
Shipping 450
Taxes 200
AEM ECU 900
Tuning 2.000

TOTAL 9.831

290 hp at the crank............................................. worthless

Last I saw, the Inline 2.5 kit only made 240 whp on a Dynojet, so I don't think its making more than 300 crank hp in the examples I've seen tested (on this forum). That said, it is making better torque than the 2.2 engines being discussed.

UL

p.s. - you don't need bigger injectors until you go over 300 whp, so save some money!

240 wheel hp on a dynojet should equate to 300 crank hp. There is at least a 20% loss of power through the drivetrain with rear wheel drive. What torque figures do you have for the 2.5? I've been kind of curious about this stroker kit myself.
