Yes, less engine vibration, less torqing of the of the engine, shifting is less notchy, rev-matching at high rpms and heel-toeing are easier in terms of shifting.

I had my J's damper/STB combo for a long time and didn't install it right away because I didn't have time to deal with the potential fitment problem. When I finally installed it, which was not a big deal, took a few hours to figure out how it worked best and...it is great...immediate improvement in vibration and shifting. I love it.

The AC lines were in the way, and had to be moved quite a bit...and the STB was in the way for the cruse control cable. Ultimately, it should be better...but I am happy with the result to overlook the fitment issues that I am able to resolve and be happy with.

hey guys, i just bought my damper kit with the heat sheild. im kind of new at this so i had some problems installing the kit. i still havent installed it and decide to let my friend do it. just wondering if anyone can give me a tip in installing the dAMPER?
