Default Installing an NRG engine damper

Does anyone have a pic of the NRG or simalar engine damper fitted? Im about to fit mine and it doesnt seem obvious on where to attach it the engine side. Im guessing the other plate mounts to the suspension strut bolts.

Do I also need to cut a hole in the exhaust heat shield? Or remove it all together?

Thanks

It needs a hole in the exhaust shield.

Have a look on the J's Racing web site.

Does anyone have a close up pic of where it joins the engine? I just wanna be sure its secured correctly and I dont go putting pressure on a weakly mounted sensor.

Im guessing its installed on the UK drivers side of the engine bay?

Theres some info below about the damper I bought but no pics.

Is it the same as the J's Racing one ?
If so buy the J's Heatshield which as the cutout for it.
Also see the "Parting my car" thread from Lou_2k (IIRC) in the FS&W thread for some pictures of the J's Racing part.

Let me know how you get on I could be interested.
