I'm thinking about getting the K&N intake.

Does anyone have the K&N intake kit?? If so how do you like it? Is there a noticable gains??

Also, it says it's an off-road kit, not for use on cars w/ pollution controlled devices blah blah blah...

My question is, do all that air hoses that are on the OEM intake plug into this one?? If not, Doesn't the check engine light come on?? What needs to be done for this install?

There has been a few discussions about this topic, but I'll sum up.

I love it, sound and performance-noticeable gains.

Everything you need for the install is with the kit, and there is no modifying the engine bay whatsoever (cutting, drilling, etc.). There are some original parts removed, but it doesn't trigger the check engine light. If the light comes on, then you probably have some hoses mixed up.
