OK, after searching for the correct wires from the ignition, i.e. a starter ground wire, I had not luck as everything coming out of the ignition has 12v on it.

I ended up using the safety switch on the clutch. I used the blue wire off the top sensor and spliced a switch into it an hid the switch.

It works great and now my wife can't drive my toy
