Default Knock sensor

Right, first a little background info:

Just undergone a rebuild as cylinder 4 was scratched. Had the block sleeved with Darton MID's, JE pistons and BC conrods. Have changed the clutch to an ACT with 6puck pressure plate and an 8lb Fidanza flywheel.

problem: Everything seems fine except the valves seem very noisy. Have only had them adjusted to loosest possible setting which explains that but I've got a knock sensor code P0325 Knock sensor malfunction bank 1. Even when the valves are adjusted properly I still get the cel. Could it be the cylinder clearances are still a bit tight (compression test is fine) and this is firing it off or could it be something to do with the sleeves?

I've kept compression the same and nothing else has been changed except from the essentials like big end bearings etc.

Kinda stumped, need help pls

Or is it something stupid like the sensor is just malfunctioning?

The knock sensor was probably damaged...it is fragile. Replace it and clear the code.

either your knock sensor is damaged or the iron sleeves has changed the resonance of the block.

Sleeved blocks don't cause a P0325. Broken knock sensors do.
