Default Koyo Radiator replacement

I ordered the Koyo from evasive. My OEM hoses are newish, and I also went ahead and ordered the Koyo 1.3 bar cap and a buddy club fan switch. As far as the foam seal that goes along the top of the radiator, does anyone know if a new one is included with the radiator or do I need to source one?

What type of fan setups have people had the most success with? I will probably go ahead and get one with a fan shroud if they provide more efficiency over stock fans. I am trying to set up an efficient system now before I go FI. The OEM fans are in good shape but 16 years old.

If you're going with a Koyo rad, look into a single SPAL 14" high performance (HP) fan, or (2) SPAL HP fans. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they are 3 1/2" thick and around 1400 cfm. I currently have one from my Ptuning turbo kit. You will need to wire their harness and relay kit as well.

Foam is not included, but you can buy some weatherstripping foam from Home Depot. It's what I did. I kept the stock fans.

Yup, I just got weather stripping at Ace Hardware/Home Depot. I also filled up the gaps on the sides and bottom of the radiator.

I believe you can just re-use the stock fans. Do you need more fanned airflow for a car that has significantly more power than stock that will be sitting in hot traffic? Or autocrossing? Or is the front airflow inlet of the car blocked?

I am just setting the car up with each upgrade for a 400hp supercharger build. I want to make sure I take the necessary steps without cutting corners. Nothing could be worse than building the car then loosing the engine because insufficient cooling. I think the stock fans will be fine for my application. But after I get this Koyo installed I'll monitor temps and see how they look.

I use my stock fans with my koyo, however, my fans are set to come on at 180 degrees, I will strongly suggest SPAL hp or extreme puller fans to use instead. I'm currently at 13-14 psi with SOS SC

Yeah I got a new lower temp fan switch as well. I'll get it all hooked up with the water temp gauge and keep an eye on it. Radiator came in today, gauges still being made.
