Default Kraftwerks Engine Rattle

UPDATE: It was my supercharger pulley! Thanks y'all

Hello, all. Just wanted to check in and get a few opinions on a rattle I started hearing in my engine bay a few days ago. I've attached a video with the sound. My apologies if its hard to hear, the supercharger is extremely whiny and tends to drown everything else out. If anyone can help me figure this out or confirm that it's a TCT rattle, I would really appreciate it! Thank you.

If you haven’t upgraded your TCT I’d do that. It might very well be that, and it if it isn’t you’ll know you won’t have to worry about the TCT in the future

I don't think the rotrex blower typically whines that much at idle and rev does it? Makes me suspect a blower bearing issue and or too tight a belt, which can cause premature bearing failure as well, if that's whats going on.

I had a C30-94 on my S2000 for 125,000 miles and I never heard a whine like that. I would look at the Rotrex for this difficulty, as S2000Junky indicated.

Remove the blower belt and listen for the sound you are hearing. Also while its off turn the blower pulley by hand and feel for less then smooth operation.

Be very careful that you rotate the blower pulley in the same direction that the pulley would rotate with the engine running.

DO NOT ROTATE IT BACKWARD!

I know two people who got to pay the $2000 replacement price for the blower because of this.

Rotrex pos, cant even spin by hand back and forth to help troubleshoot if its blown, have to send in and deal with that bs. What a joke!
