Default Leaky wiper nozzle!

The drivers side windsheild wiper nozzle is leaky. Everytime i make a hard right turn liquid comes out of it and streams off the side of my hood leaving water spots there every time!

However the liquid is not coming from the port of the nozzle. Rather it is coming from the base of the nozzle.

What do I need to do? Replace? Can I do it myself? is this a common problem?

That's strange. If you look under the hood, it's just a semi clear tube that pushes into the hood nozzle thing. Maybe it's not seated correctly and leaks through? There's actually no seal between the washer nozzle and the hood, so if the tube isn't pressed in nicely, it'll leak wherever there's a space.

I'm curious as to how there's water in there all the time. After I drive a little, the tube is empty and it takes a second before the water comes through the nozzle when I need it.
