I know this is an old topic... but just for those interested. I just ordered a set of the bulbs from superbrightleds.com (since I've used them before and the lights are half price). The measurements appear to be the same (within .01") so I am hoping/betting that they will work.

When they get here and I install them I will update with how it worked out, how they look and what I used.

 

Super bright leds sells the neo3, 4, 5 bulbs. The Neo 3 bulbs work for the majority of the bulbs and the neo 4 bulbs should work for the 4 you need for the a/c controls. (i forgot to order them...so they are on their way).

I'll get pics once they are here and i put them back together.

 

Did it with 5mm white leds and 3mm red leds with resistors.

Anyone have issues with the defroster button?

I swapped out the bulb and it lit up orange due to a filter inside. I took the filter out and now it won't light up.

 

Thinking about switching to LEDs. I pulled and changed out the radio controls with another used unit from Ebay because the volume button no longer "clicked" on my original. After doing that I realized that many of my bulbs were burnt out. Aero, can you share your parts list from superbright? I've used superbright before and had good experience.

The neo3 bulbs are a replacement for the "Type A" in the original post. I got 12 of those.

The neo4 work for the "Type B" but they aren't not the long type, they are the short ones, so they look a little dimmer but look fine to me. These are for the a/c controls, you need 4.

If you got the long type b from the other site and the type a from superbrightleds you would have good light and save some bucks. When i get a decent picture of mine I'll post it up.

 

Read this and I am a bit confused. What is the exact list for all the LED Dash replacements? I want to convert all my lights to red LED. Can someone who did this please give me a list? I am looking for a simple plug and play effect. Pleas let me know, thanks!
