Wow! That sounds horrible!

The two recordings sound completely different though! If I'm hearing it correctly, the first one sounds more like a groaning noise (like rubber being rubbed against dry glass) and the second sounds like a scraping noise (like warped brake rotors scraping on the pads)? What was happening in the first recording (i.e. accelerating from a stop or coming to a stop while in gear)? What was happening in the second recording?

You say the noise goes away when you are on the clutch (which noise? the groaning or the scraping?). Does the sound(s) continue if you are in neutral and coasting to a stop as jyeung528 asked? What happens when you lightly tap on the brakes? Does the sound go away (when brakes are tapped) and then come back immediately? What happens if you accelerate and then momentarily let off the gas? Does the sound(s) go away (when you lift off the gas) and then come back immediately?

What was happening in the second recording? 1st recording was slow acceleration and second with the door opened

if the sound goes away when clutch is disengaged, but is present when clutch is engaged and gear is in neutral, that leads to your clutch/flywheel or related parts.

Ok just took it to a mechanic friend too drive and he said it's in the rear. He did not have time to put in on the rack today and can look at it next week.

So here is what I heard while driving.
Speeding up noise
slowing down noise
Sweat spot where not speeding up or down in gear with clutch engaged no sound.
put in neutral with clutch engaged no sound.
Clutch pressed to the floor no sound.

What do you guys think? I would like to fix this myself if I could.

Thanks, Earl

glad it was an easy fix! Go beat on it now for giving you such a headache and to "test" for any other noises!
