Thats what it is in essence, because it lets air flow easier, so you get more in the engine.
But yeah, just hook up a mic, shift the phase, and basically thats it. Fine tune it with as much computer jizz as you want to get the most out of it.
you just have to worry about displacement, longevity, and how you work it into the manifold.
