License plate light doesn't work?!
I have recently tried swapping out my license plate bulb to those "xenon white" LED type bulb and realized that my OEM and LED bulbs did not work when I wanted to take some before and after pictures. I believe my license plate light worked before, but now I'm not so sure. Are there any more common reasons as to why it doesn't work? The wiring seems to be fine but then again, I know nothing about wiring/electrical components.
Any tips or help on things I can check for would be great!

Thanks guys, any idea how I can go about checking the fuse/connection? I looked at the wire in my back bumper and it appears to be connected fine. I know nada about electronics, car fuses, car electrical systems, etc. so if someone can direct me how to check the fuse and further check the connection that would be awesome.
I also notice that my dash panel lights (e.g. the air controls and radio controls) go on and off. A part of my a/c controls lighting (where you can select whether you want the air at your face, feet and face, etc.) did not light up when I bought the car and a few months later, it's now on?! My CH button on my radio controls lit up fine before as well and now it doesn't. Seems a bit odd, but I'm going to wait and see if it turns back on again. I do know the previous owner had a sound system installed, could this have funked with the electrical and lighting system at all?
