limited slip diff?

Default limited slip diff?

can someone please explain in moron terms what the difference between a dif and a limited slip diff are? what does the limited slip do? do we have a limited slip? thank you!

Yes, the S2000 has a Torsen TORque SENsing limited slip differential. The above link is good general reading, then do a search here on Torsen and you should find some good specific info.

I feel qualified to answer this one - "in moron's terms"! Regular differential - one wheel pulls at a time. Limited slip - the pulling wheel/wheels will favor the wheel with most resistance, or both wheels will pull equally. There are different types of limited slip.
