Default Diff questions

Just read a post about our diffs being TOURSEN or something like that, which only work by turning both wheels.. meaning if one wheel turns freely (no back pressure), the other won't turn right (torque transfer)?

On various occasions I've had my car on the ramp and decided to engage gears, both rear wheels turned on all occasions even when tried spinning one wheel and doing the same to see if it would only spin one wheel but both engaged...

Does this mean that I have an uprighted differential ?

Just wondering as it would be a good thing right!?

Thanks
Joeh
