The worst is getting to the contortionist position upside down under the dash and realizing you need another tool and no one is around to fetch it for you.
ever try contorting under the dash of an old stingray? makes the s2000 feel like a massage chair.
After studing the US and the German OEM Honda Workshop manual, i found out that my Euro / German version has a grey coloured 5 terminal relay for the power plug and stereo. But the 5. terminal is unused... .. makes no sense. Maybe they where cheaper.
However, it was easy to replace. It sits direct above the right leg. You could change it sitting behind the wheel, just grab under the dash, feel it and pull it. I replaced it with a high quality relay from Panasonic, rated 35 Ampere, for a few euros.
Done. Lesson learned: Sometimes electronics differ even in basic things between US and Euro versions.
