Locked out of 3rd?
I recently got my s2k an 06 with 14k on it, and sometimes when I'm driving I go to find 3rd and it just won't let me in. I know I'm not going to first and the clutch is fully depressed, but it just won't let me in for a couple attempts. I'm new to the car, so maybe it is my driving, but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me. Thanks.

Can you get it into 3rd with the engine off?
First to cross out driver error, have someone who drove stick for a while test drive it.
If still can't get in to 3rd, change the transmission fluid and hope that fixes it.
With that low mileage I seriously doubt 3rd gear is gone... unless the car was previously F/I or just severely beat on.
3rd is my favorite gear, I would be pretty upset without it.
when I bought my car I couldnt get it into 5th after about 10k miles of driving turns out the synchros were shot but I have an ap1 which are known for the brass synchros going bad. yours has carbon so if I were you I would do what east2k said and do a trans fluid change with GM synchromesh. and hope that fixes the problem. if it doesnt you may be looking at a trans rebuild
I'm starting to think the transmission is bad because I read if the Vin falls below 4000 in the last 4 digits and buzzes between 3-4k then the transmission could be bad. Second feels like it grinds and even when the car is stopped with the clutch depressed it still doesn't always want to go into 3rd. It felt okay on the test drive, but at the same time I was very excited/nervous, so I was fully focused on that. Plus it took place after a 3 hour drive to another state in an Si.
Anyway, it has a 3 month/3k warranty on all the mechanical aspects and I'm bringing it into Honda on Monday for the annoying buzzing sound, so I'll find out then. I'm so glad I have the warranty on it. The same tranny fluid has probably been in there approaching 6 years, so hopefully that's just contributing to it and all she needs. I read the buzzing sound could also just be the clutch springs, so in cliché fashion I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst.
How look would the car be there if I'm looking at a transmission rebuild/swap?

These cars actually don't have a lot of common problems. This one may not have been treated properly by its original owner, and doubt it ever had the fluids changed. Plus the temp dropped about 20 degrees from the day I got it, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with the way it feels.
I'll just write everything down to make sure Honda knows what to look for and takes care of it tomorrow. Hopefully it's minor.

this is my 8th car and although it is the second oldest it has the least amount of inherrent problems... and man if your MTF is literally 6 years old im surprised you can shift at all! That stuff is probably looking like the toilet water after a big diareah.. Also have you checked the clutch master? Couldn't hurt to bleed that too. And finally, my car is a bit of a whore to get into random gears when its cold, usually 1st, second and third but once warm 90% of the stickeyness goes away
