Any fixes or adjustments for the Soft Top Clamps. Getting Wind noise through the top on/around 40 mph.

 

Mine came loose when I went to 155mph..Go to dealer they have to order a new one

 

Yeha, Mine were shot at 15K , The alumnium wears on the part that is attached to the windsheild. Dealer covered it under warrentee. Had to replace both. The wind noise is anoying. A temprorary solution is to take 1/8" id vacuum hose and silp it over the hook, cut it off just before the end. This will take up the slop and act as a cushion.

 

Hell my left side one broke at about 5K miles. 15K miles later and the duct tape is still holding strong!

 

The Vaccum Hose idea worked great . . . thanks.

 

i gotta try that with my hard top....it seems very loose when i clamp the front clips down....no pressure whatsoever!
