Default Loss of power/flashing CEL

I was driving on the interstate when my car lost acceleration. When I gave it gas it was extremely sluggish and the CEL flashed. When I got off the gas, the CEL went away. Once I tried to accelerate again, same ordeal.

I changed the plugs and had a valve adjustment about 9k miles ago. Thoughts?

CEL will not stay on.

There's no code to pull, the CEL isn't on.

I'm unsure on if it's stored or not.

The ecu should store the code if there was one.

Hmm this sounds like my issue but I was getting a P1399 code from this replaced coil packs and TPS and it turned out to be my cat collapsed inside and it flashing causing a back up and misfires on all cylinders up around 6K or higher and rite around 3200 you could feel the car hitting a wall as far as power.

Usually a flashing cel means multiple cylinder misfire... never had this problem on my s2k but had it all the time on my Volkswagen and it was the coil packs and tps.. best of luck
