Default Low Compression/Leak Test

Ok so here's the deal. I've owned my s since 2007 and have kept up with routine maintenance and babied the hell out of it, really cared for and treated it well. I'm the second owner and received the car with 35,000 miles. Now it has 186,000 and recently I replaced oem denso coilpacks and ngk laser platinums. The reason for this was I melted a spark plug in cylinder two to my suspicion of a faulty coilpack. I had the flashing cel and I had to drive it five miles home where I parked it until the parts came in. I took it to a very reputable shop to upgrade the clutch with oem disk and hd pp and told them to give it a once over. Well the compression test came back 175 172 190 215. Then the leak down results were 25% piston rings, 20% exhaust valves, 15% exhaust valves, and finally 9% piston rings. What should I do because I think my only options are to rebuild the entire engine or sell it for extremely cheap! The car burns a 1/2 quart between oil changes every 5k and seems to idle fine and drive the part. ps it pulls every once in awhile to clear the carbon out. How long can I drive it and how long will it last before a rebuild is essential? It's just a daily no abuse 20 miles round trip. I will be adding pics of my spark plugs and coilpacks pre Chernobyl and and 1k miles after the core meltdown. Please any advice is valued.

Most of us will tell u to just get rid of the old block and buy you a used long block. Rebuilding a block is not the best for these motors because of the frm sleeves unless you plan to send then out to get some aftermarket sleeves.

Honestly, I don't think you should go with a rebuild. Your best route, if you cannot salvage anything from your current motor, is to source a low mileage engine and swap it. If you do go this route, definitely make sure you do a compression test on the motor you are getting. Also, why do you baby the hell out of it? These cars were designed to be driven, not babied lol. Coil pack meltdown is the result of an improperly tightened spark plug. Not a faulty pack.

Noted the original coilpacks were still in when this happened at 184k. I did replace the spark plugs 20k prior to this happening with bosch 4 electrode spark plugs that the autozone guy sold me on. I know ngk laser plat and always check your gap. I learned the hard way unfortunately. There was a ton of oil caked up on the #2 coilpack that had the sparkplug melt. My only concerns are it still runs and idles great and mpg are around 24ish, so i'm just wondering how long I can drive it before it takes a dirt nap for good.
