Low compression, rebuild?
Hey everyone, got a compression test done on my 06 and two cylinders are low, 190 and 210, a leak test proved 30% and 35% leakage on those two cylinders.
I was advised to rebuild the entire head with new upgraded components including supertech valves and springs, but with everything said and done im looking at a bill of 3k
I know the 06-09 run lean and this causes issues but is this the appropriate way to go in terms of fixing the problem?

Dunno what Jordan PM'd you about but he's a very honest and skilled mechanic on these boards that has don tons of s2000 motor work. I just drove up to get my head rebuilt by him last weekend (actually just swapped with a good head he had) and now my car runs fantastic!

Basically told him all those parts aren't necessary, that the price is ridiculous, and that I can help him out as I did you. Oh and I referred him to your thread.
