Default Low Idle After Spark Plug Change

I changed my spark plugs over the weekend. Replaced them with the recommended NGK Laser Platinums. All of them came gapped at ~0.043" out of the box and I left them. Torqued them down to 19 #ft. After starting it and driving it for a while that day, I noticed it was idling lower than normal, and with short/small revs the engine would come back down and almost fall on it's face. Only other mods are gutted stock airbox with K&N filter, spoon style snorkel, HKS dual and test pipe. Not sure if these would play a part or not. The old plugs also indicated that I'm running rich. They were pretty dark even with only 48,000 miles on the dash, but the electrode gaps were still slightly in spec.

Any thoughts?

What would some of those things be? If nothing else, for future reference. Knowledge is power...
