Just for the record, my maintenance light started to blink at 5963 Miles.

This is just be a coincidence but, it started to blink when I accelerated hard to enter the freeway.
I know there was a post regarding this recently.

When is the maintenace light suppose to start blinking?

When will it become steady?

When did yours start to blink at?

 

sounds about right...letting you know that you have the 7,500 mile check up ahead of you.

 

To reset the maintenance required indicator, turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position, then press and hold the trip meter reset button untill the indicator resets (the indicator light goes out).
