Whats up fellas,

My maintenance light came on while I was driving. It blinks for 5-6 times and then it goes away. I still have ~ 2,000 more miles to go until I need an oil change. I also hooked up a diagnostic scanner and it didn't find any problems. Should I just reset the light and not worry about it.

yes just reset the light.

 

The Maintenance Required light starts blinking 5,900 miles after it was last reset. It will stay lit without blinking when your car reaches 7,400 miles.

To reset:

With the ignition off, press and hold the Trip button.
Turn the ignition switch on and keep pressing the trip button for 10 seconds. The Light will stop flashing.
