Is this something I would take in to the dealer?

 

Nope, its does that every 6 to 7k miles reminding you to change your oil. Here is how to reset it.

Put the key in the ignition and in the "OFF/LOCKED" Position.

•- Hold the Trip/Reset Button on the right bottom corner of your gauge cluster

•- Now - Turn key to the "ON" Position while continuing to hold the Trip/Reset Button till the light goes off.

•***If the light is still at the "blinking" stage and not yet solid - continue to Hold the button for around 25-30 seconds just to make sure it resets

I didnt think that was the problem since I took it to the dealer less than 500 miles ago for an oil change. Damn stealership.

 

Yeah since you just changed it, just reset the light and your ready to go!

 

Probably because it wasn't time for an oil change yet by the counter and the dealer has nothing to reset.
