Ok i know the "maintenance required" light is nothing serious, cause the "check engine" light would come on if i had any major problems with the car. The maintenance required light has to do with tire rotation or oil change, etc. I keep my S in perfect condition, i know when to do all of that, so i don't take it to the dealership, i do it myself. My question is HOW DO I SHUT IT OFF!!!! That light just looks at me every time i turn the car on. THIS SUCKS!!!! HELP...... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's in the owner's manual.

With the key in the ignition, but in the OFF position, push and hold the trip odometer reset button for a couple of seconds. Keep holding the button in and turn the key to the ON position. The light will go off after a few seconds.

Ok, i'll try that. My car is put away for the winter at my friends barn about 1/2 an hour away from my house. I'm going there this weekend, and i'll see what happens when i do that! Thanks dhayner and SC_Highlander. I never knew what to do, had no idea it was in the owners manual !?!? THanks again.
