light comes on when the ECU thinks its time for an oil change. nothing else triggers this light. owners manual contains the solution to all the worlds problems from maintenance lights to poverty.

If you ever want to cruise around I am in the lancaster area on the weekends. just thought I'd throw that up in the air.

owner's manual tells you how to reset the light. it's also in the FAQs at the top of this forum.

i think everyone's just saying search/read and you'll find your easy answer.

this isn't totally correct, but the reset works something like this: turn the key to the first position. hold down the trip reset meter. turn the key all the way. continue holding the trip meter for maybe 15 seconds until the indicator disappears.

if you didn't have such a pimping sig, i wouldn't have replied

yes it is correct. there is a section on the maintenance light in the FAQ with a full description of its operation and how to reset it. The FAQ is easy to navigate which makes finding the information simple
