Default Map sensor problems, change it and it still not wo

For like a week now, my car is having problem with revving my engine. The the vtech doesn't kick in anymore. I thought I had Map sensor problems. I purchased map sensor kit from Hardtopguy.com . I changed it out today and it stills had problems?

Can someone please help me out?
my car is out of warranty, and i don't want to bring to the dealership unless I have to. They are really asshole.

Oil level? Oil pressure is needed to engage the VTEC pin.

If the VTEC doesn't work the CEL will be on. you will also have a reduced RPM rev limit. Need to take it to a shop or dealer and have it checked out. Low oil level will cause this problem, but you could have more problems than that.

VTEC doesn't have an H on it....

anyway so have you topped up the oil and tried it again? VTEC systems are pretty fail safe....
